Urological cancers study day

Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 May 2023, 9am to 5pm - via livestream or in-person event 

The urological cancer study days are aimed at those working in primary care or are perhaps new to secondary care. Day 1 will focus on prostate cancer and day 2 will cover bladder cancer and early detection of other urological malignancies in primary care.

Urological cancers study day

  • Who and when to check prostate specific antigen (PSA)
  • When to refer with suspected bladder cancer
  • When to refer with suspected penile or testicular cancer
  • Supporting patients through treatment decisions for prostate and bladder cancer
  • Managing common side effects of urological cancer treatment
  • Understanding when to re-refer following cancer treatment

This is a course for primary care professionals – GPs, advanced nurse practitioners, physician associates and clinical nurse specialists.
