This study day will increase delegates knowledge of generalist palliative care skills, and knowledge of the palliative care services available within The Christie NHS Foundation trust.
Clinicians, Community / District Nurses, Nurses, Carers, GP’s, Junior Doctors, not currently working as a palliative specialists.

Complementary therapy for symptom control
Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression
Use of Specialist Medicines e.g. Ketamine, methadone, fast acting fentanyl’s and octreotide for symptom control
Psycho-oncology interface in advanced cancer
