Aimed at all students from any healthcare specialty, with an interest in cancer.
Submissions are welcome on the subject of oncology. Attendees are encouraged to submit an abstract based on a cancer-related project that may be of interest to other delegates.
Abstracts should be saved as a Word document with your full name and event as the name of the document e.g. ‘John Smith Collab in Cancer Abstract’ and emailed to the-christie.educationevents@nhs.net by 5pm on Friday 19 May 2023 with the cover submission form attached.
- All abstract submissions must pre-register to attend the symposium and indicate on the application form that they are interested in submitting an abstract.
- Please refer to the below submission form template when completing your abstract (250 words max).
- Upon submission, all successful abstracts will be contacted and asked to submit an A4 PDF poster. You may also be selected for a brief oral presentation, if you would not be happy to give an oral presentation please highlight this on the submission form.
- Certificates will be awarded to the top 3 posters and the winners will be announced live at the symposium.
Due to the virtual nature of the event, posters must be saved in PDF format and submitted electronically. They will form part of an “e-gallery” for delegates to access. All posters must clearly display the applicants’ full name and a relevant contact email address to facilitate any communication after the event.
