Can Survive
Marcella is the Founder and CEO at Can-Survive UK, a registered charity providing culturally sensitive support and information to people living with or affected by cancer. Can-Survive UK is targeted at but not exclusive to Black Minority Ethnic (BME) populations.
Marcella has over 15 years’ experience and knowledge of working within the Voluntary Sector, 10 of which were spent at BHA for Equality (formerly Black Health Agency).
Marcella sits on the Management Committee of Cancer Equality, a national charity whose purpose is to address the needs of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) people affected by cancer. She is also part of the Manchester BME Cancer Network.
Marcella is passionate about ensuring that everyone living with or affected by cancer has equal access to culturally appropriate and accessible quality information and person centred support services.
