The Christie outcomes

This map displays incidence ranges throughout Greater Manchester. Incidence ranges tell you the number of new patients referred to The Christie per 100,000 population for each region.

10,000 new patients are referred to The Christie each year from within the Greater Manchester area to be seen by a Christie consultant. Patients are usually diagnosed by their local hospital and then referred to The Christie to provide specialist care . There are many aspects of the cancer pathway that influence outcomes, from speed of diagnosis to treatment. At The Christie the Clinical Outcomes Unit are actively monitoring our patient data to try to ensure that outcomes improve year on year.
