Greater Manchester Cervical Cancer Outcomes

Since 2004, five year survival has increased significantly for cervical cancer in the Greater Manchester region.

For every 100 women diagnosed, 11 more women will survive at least five years compared with 2004. While Greater Manchester still has lower five year survival than England as a whole the gap has halved in the past 10 years and continues to reduce. The Christie is working actively with our NHS partners to improve outcomes for patients in our local area.
