The Christie Day Nursery team are celebrating after achieving an 'Outstanding' rating from Ofsted in a recent inspection, an improvement upon the nursery's previous 'good' rating.
The team which is made up of 21 staff employed by The Christie attained the highest possible rating by Ofsted inspectors, which recognises the Christie Nursery as 1 of 12 'Outstanding' settings in Manchester.
The inspection report highlights the nursery's 'excellent partnership with parents and its collaborative approach in providing links which support children's learning both in the nursery and at home.' The nursery is acknowledged for its 'calm, caring and warm environment' and the staff are praised for 'recognising that this supports the emotional needs of individual children and parents using the service'.
The standard of teaching is described as 'exceptional' and 'the challenging and stimulating environment' are cited as significant factors in children being 'extremely motivated and confident learners.'

We are all passionate about what we do and are pleased to provide the best service possible for our nursery attendees and their parents."

There are 54 places and a total of 90 children who attend The Christie Day Nursery with approximately (45) of the children using the nursery who have parents who work at The Christie.
