Our partnerships

The Christie places high importance on the establishment of long term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

This is in recognition of the immense value they bring in terms of clinical excellence, academic leadership and commercial benefits. This can be exemplified by The Christie’s close working relationship with The University of Manchester, evidenced through the highly successful establishment of the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and the Manchester Cancer Research Centre, in partnership with Cancer Research UK.

The Christie is an entrepreneurial organisation and has formed a number of commercial partnerships including with Alliance Medical UK for the joint provision of national training in PET CT, Synlab UK for provision of advanced pathology services and HCA Healthcare UK in the joint venture provision of The Christie Private Care. Most recently, a contract has been established with Roche Pharmaceuticals and SAP in a major digital innovation to align Christie expertise in the application of Big Data with systemic treatment.
