"Charlotte is the team leader for the team of health play specialists on the Proton Beam therapy department.
"She has held this position for the last 2 years, leading the team of 4 specialists who help facilitate the paediatric patients through their proton beam journey.
"The team is very adaptable and dynamic; working to ensure children can cope with the demands of their therapy. They’re a vital part of the radiotherapy multidisciplinary team preparing patients for both their scans and treatment through play and their knowledge of child development. They ensure the environment is friendly and welcoming and that all their individual needs are catered for and respected.
"Charlotte is a mum of 3 teenagers and an animal lover. She is very proud of her cocker spaniel George."
