Coffee shop

Drinks, cakes and sandwiches are available at the coffee shop in the Oak Road reception. How lunches can be obtained at the weekends and bank holidays. opening times vary: Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm; Friday 9am to 4:30pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4pm.

Dining room

Patients and visitors can get a snack, salad or a hot meal from the dining room, open Monday to Friday 7:15am to 7pm. Cooked breakfast is is served from 8:30am to 11am, hot lunches between 11:45am and 2pm and hot dinner between 5pm and 6:30pm.

Gift shop

The Christie has it's own gift shop in Oak Road reception. All profits benefit Christie patients. Gift items, toiletries, writing paper and cards as well as newspaper and magazines and a small display of charity items are on sale. A selection of head scarves and turbans is available.

Hairdressing service

The salon is in the Oak Road reception area and can be used by patients, visitors and staff. A hairdresser also visits the wards. Please ask staff if you would like an appointment. There is a charge for this service. The prices are displayed in the salon.

Tea bar

The tea bar in outpatients is open Monday to Thursday 9:30am to 5pm and Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm for drinks and snacks.

Wireless internet WIFI

The Christie offers a wireless internet connection to all patients and visitors to the Trust; this network is known as The Christie Guest Internet.

If you have a wireless device such as a laptop then you can get access to the internet wirelessly anywhere* in The Christie's Withington site.

Please note: The Christie ICT Support team will not be able to support patients or visitors laptops. Users are responsible for configuring their own laptops.
