Stem Cell Transplants

Since the Programme began in 1982 over 1500 allogeneic and autologous transplant procedures have been performed, establishing The Christie as one of the UKs major transplant centres.

Year on year the Programme has grown in activity, innovation and recognition. In 2009 the Programme was awarded full JACIE (Joint Accreditation Committee for ISCT and EBMT) accreditation - a measure of excellence in quality.
