Admissions

Please check in at the planned admissions transport suite, which is located on the main corridor near outpatients. If you have a letter with your date of admission, it is helpful to bring it with you.

After booking in at the planned admissions transport suite, we will ask you to have a blood test.

You may have to wait for a bed on the ward to become available. How quickly this happens depends on the type of treatment you are having, and when there is a place on an appropriate ward for you. We will do our best to keep you informed if there is likely to be a long wait. If you are still waiting for a bed by lunchtime, lunch will be provided.
