Thank you and well done to everyone who took part in the 2012 Walk of Hope. It was wonderful to see so many Christie supporters uniting against cancer on such a beautiful September's day.

The money raised at the walk will provide hope for the thousands of people who are treated at The Christie every year so thank you so much to everyone who joined us at Tatton Park.

The Walk of Hope could not go ahead without the support and generosity of the many businesses and people who have given their time and skills to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time. We would like to say a big thank you to St Johns Ambulance, The Christie Complimentary Therapies Team and all of the wonderful volunteers who helped out on the day.

Thanks also to folk sensations Spindrift, John Blaycock and Rebecca Fitzgibbon for entertaining our walkers both before and after the walk, Wings of Love for providing the Doves of Peace and Arnold Clark for their continued support of our sporting events with the use of their vehicles.

We would also like to say a big thank you to Mahoods Marquees and Lightech for helping us to bring the Walk of Hope to life.
