Night of Neon
Date 27 October 2012
Date to be confirmed

CONGRATULATIONS and a big thank you to the
hundreds of walkers who joined Team Christie at the Night of Neon
on Saturday 29th October 2011.
Despite the typical autumnal weather our army of
neon clad Team Christie Walkers were out in force and didn't let
the rain dampen their enthusiasm as they completed the 10km walk
which started and finished at The Lowry before taking in the
Imperial War Museum and Media City.
There was entertainment galore as we were once again
joined by comedy duo 'Bread & Butter', 'Tommy Dobson and The
Wonder Years' and personal trainers from Virgin Active provided the
pre walk warm up and our extended thanks go to them all for really
helping to create the party atmosphere on the evening.
Our special thanks go to Slattery's, Pizza Express and
Lexus for very kindly donating prizes for the evening, Arnold
Clark, A G Barr and Soreen for their continued support of our
cause, and of course to our 'Team Christie Volunteers' who
were out in force ensuring that the evening ran smoothly and that
everyone taking part had a great time.

The Night of Neon is a 10km evening walk taking place against
the beautiful backdrop and unique architecture of Salford Quays, it
is a chance to get together, have fun and help stomp out cancer.
But it is much more than that, the Night of Neon is simply unique.
With fantastic entertainment to get the party started, this really
is an event not to be missed!
