2012 London Marathon

A huge thank you to the amazing Christie Team who conquered the 2012 Virgin London Marathon. Over 40 inspirational Christie runners took to the streets ofLondon, raising thousands of pounds in support of our cause.

2013 London Marathon

Need a place?

The public ballot is due to open for the 2013 Virgin London Marathon at midnight on 29^th April 2012 at http://www.virginlondonmarathon.com/. This ballot system will close when 125,000 applications have been received. Places in this ballot fill up fast (often within 24 hours!) so make sure that you enter as soon as possible to have the best chance of securing your place in this famous marathon.

The Christie also has a small number of golden bond charity places in the 2013 event. In return for one of these sought after places we ask applicants to pledge to raise a minimum of £2,000 in sponsorship. These places are allocated in September once the organisers have announced the official ballot. If you wish to be considered for one of our Golden Bond places, please complete our online application form. (Please note we ask all those interested to also apply via the official ballot first).

If you are lucky enough to secure your own place, either through the ballot, via your running club or if you have a 'good for age' place and would like to run for The Christie, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please provide your details here as soon as your place has been confirmed.

All Christie runners will be provided with a sponsorship pack, free Christie running vest or t-shirt and expert fundraising support from The Christie team.
