Need a place?

The public ballot is now open! We are asking all applicants to first enter into the ballot at www.greatrun.org. The public ballot is due to close on 6th February, make sure that you don't miss out!

If you are unsuccessful in obtaining your own place, you may wish to consider applying for a charity place in this year's event. Our guaranteed entry places will be available in return for a pledge to raise a minimum sponsorship of  £400. We will be accepting applications for these places once the public ballot has closed and will be making decisions in the Spring. Please note that demand for our charity places is expected to be high and as we only have a limited number, we unfortunately cannot guarantee that every applicant will be successful.

We do ask all supporters interested in our guranteed entry scheme to also apply via the Great Run ballot.

If you are successful in securing your own place via the official ballot and would like to support The Christie, we would love to hear from you. All our runners will receive a sponsorship pack with free Christie t-shirt which we hope you will wear on race day as you join our team pounding the streets of Tyneside. We will be here to support you every step of the way!
