Recycle
Do your bit for the environment and collect old
printer toners, cartridges or mobile phones and support The
Christie at the same time.
ClothesOpen
The Christie charity has launched a kerbside clothes recycling
scheme in Greater Manchester and Lancashire. We are asking
households to donate any unwanted clothes and shoes, which will be
collected on a designated day from outside your house. Please look
out for a leaflet or bag through your letter box over the coming
months promoting the scheme and letting you know when we will be
collecting in your area.
The scheme is being run by Care2Collect and The Christie charity
will receive £50 for every tonne of textiles collected. A dedicated
Christie customer helpline, 0844 873 2370, will be operated by
Care2Collect's customer service team during normal office hours 9-5
(with an answer phone outside these hours) to handle any enquiries
relating to the scheme.

Give a car and make a differenceOpen

specialises in auctioning or scrapping old cars to raise money for
charitable causes throughout the world, including The Christie
charity.
They provide a free service which is available
throughout the UK:
- They can arrange a convenient time to collect your
vehicle;
- Depending on its age and condition, they can either send it for
environmentally safe disposal and recycling, or to a salvage
auction;
- Our charity then receives a donation from the proceeds, helping
us to continue to make vital developments here at The Christie
Since Giveacar was set up in 2010, the organisation has already
