Co-founders Amanda Barlow of Duff & Phelps Ltd, Melanie Sheehy of LateRooms.com and Hayley Harthern of Manchester235 Casino, welcomed 87 of their members to the roof terrace of the Great John Street Hotel, to celebrate their first successful year.

Since their launch, the network now has over 350 members, all of which are Manchester based PAs, EAs and secretaries, an official website, seven more events under their belt and another two yet to come in 2012.

The network is a proud supporter of The Christie charity, and since its launch, has raised over £4,300 for the specialist cancer centre based in Manchester.

Amanda Barlow of Duff & Phelps and co-founder said; "The Christie is a charity so close to our hearts and we are proud to support such a worthwhile charity. Having lost my Mum to cancer aged nine, I feel this is a fitting tribute to her and it's a great feeling knowing that what we do can assist research or support families living with cancer.

"We were totally blown away when we received the news about our first year's total and are looking forward to seeing our fundraising grow and grow as the network goes from strength to strength."

PAs, EAs and secretaries can register by emailing manchesterpanetwork@gmail.com
