Dr Kasipandian underwent higher specialist training in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine in the North West Deanery, UK, and received her dual accreditation (Dual CCT) in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia in 2011. She joined The Christie as a substantive consultant in critical care and anaesthesia in May 2011 where she specialises in anaesthesia for peritoneal tumour services and onco-plastic surgery. Her key clinical interests are oncological critical care, fluid therapy in critically ill patients and airway safety. She is currently the Clinical Lead for critical care at The Christie. Dr Kasipandian developed the provision of in-house Level 3 intensive care services in the critical care unit and set up and runs The Christie National Tracheostomy Safety Project.
