Joanne Fitzpatrick, who has worked at the Trust for 19 years, received the accolade at last night's Healthcare Financial Management Association awards ceremony.

The award recognises Joanne's contribution to both the Trust's financial performance, as well as improvements to patient care. A key area of Joanne's work has been to engage clinicians across the organisation to invest in improved services.

Joanne said: "I am absolutely delighted to have won this award on behalf of the whole of the finance team who work extremely hard in order to ensure excellence in everything they do."

Director of finance and business development Ian Moston said: "Joanne deserves recognition for the work she's done over a long time. It's also important to recognise the team too - having a great team allows you to make your contribution."
